QUALITY MANAGER / ENGINEER

We are seeking Quality Managers / Engineers with experience managing and implementing quality control on multi-million dollar construction and design/build contracts for NYS and NYC agencies. Successful applicants will work directly with clients, staff and subcontractors to ensure adherence to the contract requirements. Quality Managers / Engineers will be involved with submittals, coordination, field inspections, testing, quality audits and commissioning among the many other aspects of this field. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team, engineers and other staff to oversee quality control on multi-million dollar construction projects

• Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to ensure quality adherence on projects

• Submittal management

• Material management

• Prepare daily quality reports

• Perform / oversee quality inspections, testing and audits

• Coordinate commissioning of equipment and systems with subcontractors and consultants

• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work with co-workers and subcontractors

• Propose solutions to non-conforming field conditions and use lessons learned to offer continuous improvements and preventative measures

 

Skills

• 5 years’ experience in quality management

• Excellent organizational skills

• Detail oriented

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Good work ethic

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

• Must travel to project sites throughout NYC
