TAP Electric was proud to work with Transit Wireless as we connected millions of New York City subway riders to the 5G future with an award-winning network. TAP Electric, as a subcontractor to Transit Wireless, installed antenna system networks to enable cellular connectivity in places that were unreachable by traditional cellular phone services.
This major project encompassed all 280 underground stations of the New York City subway system. Also, due to an initiative of NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, and through the hard work and dedication of TAP’s workforce, the project was successfully completed ahead of schedule.
